Destination Thailand Visa
GENERAL INFORMATION
Documents Requirement
- Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months
- A complete visa application form filled in and signed by the applicant
- Two colour photographs of the applicant as per the specification*
- A demand draft of a visa fee of 25,000 INR
- Confirmed tickets in and out of Thailand
- Confirmed hotel/accommodation reservation in Thailand under the applicant’s name
- Financial evidence with an amount equivalent to no less than 500,000 THB e.g. bank statements, sponsorship letter
- An employment contract of employment certificate in their country or professional portfolio showcasing digital nomad, remote worker, foreign talent or freelancer status
- Invitation letter from the company in Thailand to attend the activity (sport-related activity. cooking class, medical treatment, meeting, seminar, art performance)
- A relationship proof document, e.g., a marriage certificate or birth certificate (in case of a dependent or family member – spouse and children aged under 20 years)
Photo Specifications
Please provide two recent photograph (not more than 6 months old) of yourself, which should not have been used previously in the passport. The photograph should be in colour and:
- Taken against a white background so that features are distinguishable and contrast against the background.
- Clear share quality and with the 80% face in focus.
- Printed on normal photographic paper (camera print).
- Full face, non-smiling [without glasses, a hat/cap or other head covering, unless the applicant wears such items because of their religious belief or ethnic background]
- Please stick the Photograph on the Visa Application Form.
- Note: Please follow these instructions carefully. If photographs presented do not meet these requirements your application will be considered incomplete. A photo booth meeting these requirements is available at the centre.
Processing Time
The normal visa processing period of the Embassy is 14 working days. Granting the decision of visa application is at complete discretion of the Embassy.

Please Note:

- All the documents are essential to support your application, however the mandatory documents are marked with the asterisk symbol (*).
- The checklist needs to be filled for each application and submitted along with the visa application form.
- The application form will not be accepted without the relevant check list.
